Film name: The Banquet Date of Premier: Sept., 2006 Film Introduction: Prince Wu Luan is the stepson of Empress Wan. They had known each other since they were children, before Wan's marriage to the Emperor. After the Emperor is murdered by his younger brother Li who usurps the throne, Empress Wan marries Li to protect Wu Luan and seal her own position in the court. But Li is no fool and dispatches assassins that ultimately fail to kill Wu Luan. When Emperor Li proclaims a big banquet, Wu Luan and Wan realize it is time to strike. |

Emperor Li, “However I feel it’s been no longer than one day.”

Emperor Li, “Even if it’s a piece of ice, I’ll melt it with my mouth.”
婉后：“如果这块冰变成了火呢？含在嘴里的火…”
Empress Wan, “What if the ice turns into fire – what will you do about the fire in your mouth …”
厉帝：“那我就把它咽下去，暖心”。
Emperor Li, “Then I’ll swallow it to warm my heart.”
